whatever you're looking for, you probably won't find it here
That would be my name. Think 'Julie', but put the emphasis on the second syllable, please.
''06.26.05'' - I've just started putting this thing together. Watch it grow as time and boredom allow...

//''schmeh'' is not the cure to boredom. ''schmeh'' does not hold the answers. ''schmeh'' will not make the clouds open up and sun reappear. ''schmeh'' will not heal you. ''schmeh'' is not your best friend. ''schmeh'' may not even like you. ''schmeh'' doesn't make any promises. ''schmeh'' just is. and sometimes, just sometimes, we could all use a little ''schmeh''.//\n\n!schmeh 101 - Intro to Schmeh\nHi, I'm [[Ju-Lie]]. ''schmeh'' is my personal web thing--nothing more, nothing less. I mess with it when I feel like it, I ignore it when I don't. There's nothing earth-shatteringly original here, so don't getting your hopes up only to have them dashed against the hardness of my cynical little heart. (And if you do end up bitterly disappointed, take your bitching elsewhere...I don't want to hear it.)\n\nIf you feel the pressing need to get in touch with me, you can do so at ''jm at schmeh dot com''. Yes, I know that isn't a link. Think of it as a mini-IQ test. If you can't manage to score high enough, I probably don't want to hear from you.\n\n\n!!Is this web thing a wiki?\nWell, ain't you clever?\n\nYes, I'm powering this web thing via a wiki. It's a [[GTD TiddlyWiki|http://shared.snapgrid.com/gtd_tiddlywiki.html]] (with some small CSS modifications), to be precise. Why? Because I felt like it, that's why.\n\nReally, it's because I'm a little lazy, and I thought this might help me stay more inclined to mess with the web thing a bit more often than a more "traditional" site maintenance method.\n\nI chose the GTDTW because I'm playing with it for a work project as well, and I figured I'd save myself the hassle of messing around with multiple wiki types and just reuse the same one. (I mentioned the lazy thing, right? Honestly, I like to think of it as //efficient//.)\n\n!!!!!Why do you keep calling this a web thing?\nAgain, because I feel like it.\n\nThis is my first foray into the wiki world for a personal project, so I'm just kind of feeling things out. This doesn't really feel like a "personal web site" (something I assure you I know way too much about from //way// too many years of experience), and it's definitely not a blog. It's a wiki...it's a web thing.
